Yesterday, Steve Jobs unveiled the new iPhone named ‘iPhone 4′ not ‘iPhone 4G’ and absolutely not ‘iPhone HD’. During the unveiling, Jobs mentioned that the new iPhone will be released in the US, Japan, France, Germany and the United Kingdom on June 21 but he failed to mention the other countries.
What he did say is that their new iPhone 4 will be made available in 18 other countries sometime this July, as to which countries that is, we’ll just have to wait for more announcements from Apple.
Update: The announcement did materialize.
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
So sometime this July, the iPhone 4 will hit Singapore shores. WOW!
After the July release date for those 18 countries, the new iPhone will make its way to 88 more countries in September.
